Zhongnai Engineering Technology Co., Ltd.

Leveraging years of hands-on experience in petrochemical and coal chemical engineering construction, supported by technical expertise and backing from several chemical research institutes and universities, and benefiting from the strong policy support of the Changyuan Anti-Corrosion and New Materials Industrial Park, the company aspires to build itself into a world-class chemical technology enterprise dedicated to the sustainable development of low-energy, high-efficiency, and environmentally friendly new technologies and materials, joining the grand endeavor of "Intelligent Manufacturing in China."

2016 — The company was founded.

2018 — Dr. Wang Li, a specially invited expert under the National Thousand Talents Program, joined the company, and the catalyst project was officially initiated.

2019 — Site selection and construction began for Phase I of the project. The R&D center and the first catalyst production line were completed. The company successfully supplied 350 tons of residue hydrotreating catalysts to Quanzhou Petrochemical.

2020 — Under the leadership of Dr. Wang Li, the company completed the improvement of residue hydrotreating catalysts, as well as the R&D and evaluation of hydrorefining/hydrocracking catalysts. Annual sales reached RMB 20 million.

2021 — In collaboration with the Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP), the company developed Methanol-to-Propylene (MTP) catalysts. For the first time, 155 tons of MTP catalysts were successfully applied at Datang Duolun Coal Chemical Project. Annual sales exceeded RMB 30 million. In the same year, the company was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise.

2022 — Phase II of the project (120 mu / approximately 80,000 square meters) commenced construction. The standard production line for MTP catalysts was completed and put into operation. Zhongnai's R&D Center was officially designated as the Henan Provincial Engineering Technology R&D Center for Process Catalysts.

2023 — Catalyst sales and toll manufacturing services experienced comprehensive growth, with annual sales reaching RMB 50 million.

2024 — The company formally entered the business of producing adsorbents for lithium extraction from salt lakes, and successfully completed the pilot-scale process trials for various series of salt-lake lithium extraction adsorbents.

2025 — In collaboration with Beijing Bishuiyuan (OriginWater), the company produced and successfully delivered over 600 tons of salt-lake lithium extraction adsorbents. Additionally, the company officially launched the project initiation for battery and new energy-related catalysts. With research directions closely aligned with key industry pain points, and leveraging the industrial advantages of the Changyuan Anti-Corrosion and New Materials Industrial Park, the company is well-positioned to seize early opportunities in these high-growth market segments.
