ZXF-101 Adsorbent is a new product independently developed and scaled up for production by Zhongnai. It is an adsorbent prepared using composite specialty alumina as the raw material, with the addition of inorganic pore-forming auxiliaries. This adsorbent is designed to be used in conjunction with CO sulfur-tolerant shift catalysts, and can be applied in filters installed upstream of sulfur-tolerant shift catalyst units in gasification processes that directly convert residual oil, heavy oil, asphalt, petroleum coke, coal slag, or coal gasification-generated CO-containing gases to produce ammonia synthesis gas, hydrogen, and oxo synthesis gas.
This guard material not only possesses high mechanical strength and excellent strength stability, but also features high porosity, enabling effective removal and adsorption of impurities and poisons such as carbon black, tar, and dust from the feed gas. By protecting the sulfur-tolerant shift catalyst, it can significantly extend the service life of the CO sulfur-tolerant shift catalyst. The adsorbent or filtering material can be put into operation by simply raising the temperature to the required operating conditions, without the need for any reduction or sulfidation pretreatment. Its composition is simple, containing no alkali metals and no substances harmful to equipment or human health. The service life of this material depends on the specific operating and process conditions.
