The lab-scale carrier extruder is a core forming equipment used in catalyst R&D, ceramic materials, and the preparation of novel functional materials. This equipment is primarily used to extrude plastic paste—prepared by mixing powder raw materials with binders, extrusion aids, and solvents—through a specific die under high pressure, continuously forming wet extrudates with fixed cross-sectional shapes (such as cylindrical, trilobal, or quadrilobal) and dimensions. After subsequent drying and calcination, these extrudates are processed into high-performance carriers. It serves as a critical bridge connecting laboratory formula research with industrial scale-up production.
