
Drying Oven
The Drying Oven, particularly the forced air convection drying oven, is a fundamental piece of key equipment used in the R&D and production of catalysts and supports for removing solvents (water or organic solvents), fixing active components, and performing preliminary heat treatment. In the catalyst preparation process (impregnation → drying → calcination → reduction), the drying step serves as a critical transitional stage that directly determines the distribution uniformity of active components on the support surface, crystallite size, and ultimately the catalytic performance. Unlike ordinary material drying, the drying of catalyst supports is a complex physicochemical process involving capillary forces, solute migration, and phase change control. In the high-end laboratories of 2025–2026, there is a growing preference for specialized drying ovens equipped with programmable temperature control, precise airflow adjustment, and explosion-proof designs.
