Chemisorption Analyzer

The Chemisorption Analyzer, often referred to as a multi-functional catalyst characterization instrument, is a core precision apparatus used in catalytic materials R&D for the quantitative determination of the number of active surface sites on catalysts, metal dispersion, active component particle size, and acidity/basicity. Unlike physisorption (which primarily measures specific surface area and pore size), chemisorption exploits the selective chemical bonding between adsorbate molecules (such as H₂, CO, O₂, NH₃, CO₂, etc.) and specific active sites on the catalyst surface. By monitoring gas consumption or temperature-programmed changes, it directly "counts" the number of active centers involved in the reaction, serving as a critical bridge linking the catalyst's microstructure to its macroscopic performance (activity and selectivity).
