Sulfidation Furnace / Sulfiding Unit

The Sulfidation Furnace (also referred to as a Sulfiding Unit) is a critical piece of specialized equipment in catalyst preparation and evaluation. It is primarily used to convert oxide-form metal precursors (such as MoO₃, WO₃, NiO, CoO, etc.) into highly active sulfided states (such as MoS₂, WS₂, Ni-Mo-S, and Co-Mo-S phases). In the fields of hydrotreating, hydrocracking, and residue hydrotreating catalysts, the effectiveness of the sulfidation process directly determines the catalyst's activity, selectivity, and service life.
